Tailfeathers Home Page
The Tailfeathers Ladies Club was founded in June 1979. by a group of six ladies residing in Peacock Hills. We are a non-profit organization. The purpose of the Club is to promote social activities involving the lady residents of Peacock Hills.
Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month excepting July & August. Don't forget the Social Hour begins at 11:00 AM. Lunch at Noon.

Resident owner since 1998, Born and raised in Provo, Utah. Graduated B.Y.U. High and attended Brigham Young University. After a career in Accounting, Title Insurance and Real Estate, a switch to repairing and refinishing cane and wicker furniture, led to Owning and operating Antiques stores in California since 1981.Studied antique appraisal and conducted appraisal clinics and estate sales. Serves on the Board of Directors of Main Street Oceanside. An avid traveler with a passion for reading and playing bridge.

Patricia Lynch-Greene · Vice President
Resident owner since 1997. Born Massachusetts, graduated from the University of Massachusetts. Served 31 years in the Airline industry as a Flight attendant with Northeast Airlines until moving to California. Served with Airline Div. Teamsters. Served with American Federation of Government Employees, as Assistant to the National Vice Pres. before retiring to Oceanside in 1997 still serves in Mediation and Consultation capacity for both unions.

Resident homeowner since 1978. Employed at MiraCosta College in 1979,at the Oceanside campus. Retired in 1993 as an Accounting Specialist. Editor of the Tailfeathers newsletter since September of 2000 to October 2007. Volunteer at the Oceanside Public Library, member of the MiraCosta Horticultural Club. Mother of 3 Grandmother to 5.

Shirley Meda · Secretary
Resident homeowner since 1994. Born in London, England: After surviving
the London Blitz, became a Navy wife for almost 20 years. Remarried in Idaho Falls,
Idaho in 1981. Widowed in 1990 moved to California near son at Camp Pendleton.
Has 2 sons and a daughter. Retired in 2000, now volunteers at Tri-City Hospital as
receptionist on a surgical floor. Serves as Bereavement Chairman for the Auxiliary.
Elected 2nd Vice President arranging the entertainment for the monthly luncheons.
Elected Secretary 2006.
Enjoys traveling,visited China in 2004.

Retired from the Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, in 2001. Enjoys the
friends made in the Tailfeathers Club. Hobbies include crossword
puzzles and traveling.
